Transport services accessible to people with reduced mobility
Transport Service for People with Reduced Mobility, or “TPMR”
- This service is for people who are unable to use regular bus services in 23 coastal municipalities.
- It is reserved for people who hold a Carte Mobilité Inclusion (CMI).
- The service operates by reservation, either by phone or online.
- Journeys are adapted to individual needs, and assistance is available depending on the person’s requirements.
Demand-Responsive Transport, or “TAD”
Demand-Responsive Transport makes it possible to travel in areas where there are no regular bus services.
This service is available in 140 municipalities across the Basque Country and is open to all passengers, including people with reduced mobility.
The service operates by reservation, which can be made:
- via the TXIK TXAK app
- on the website
- or by phone
Accessible assistance at our customer service offices or by phone
- All TXIK TXAK customer service offices comply with accessibility standards, with adapted access routes, accessible entrances and clear spaces.
- The Bayonne and Biarritz customer service offices are equipped with hearing loops to amplify sound during conversations for people who are hard of hearing.
- The Roger Voice service is available to deaf and hard-of-hearing people, making telephone contact accessible.
Connect to the Roger Voice platform from a computer, tablet or smartphone equipped with a webcam and an internet connection to be connected with a sign language interpreter or use real-time speech transcription. These calls are secure and subject to a professional code of ethics, ensuring complete confidentiality of your conversations.
