The TXIK TXAK card: your key to making life easier!
Why choose this handy card?
The TXIK TXAK card is free to create. It allows you to load the tickets and travel passes of your choice for easy access to Tram’bus services, buses, coaches and park-and-ride facilities. You can even use it for TER regional trains with the TXIK TXAK + TER pass, as well as for secure bike shelters.
It can be topped up online or at ticket machines 24/7. No more queues or extra fees – I top up my card whenever and wherever I want.
Where can I get my card?
The TXIK TXAK card can be issued at the Bayonne, Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Saint-Palais agencies, or directly via the online shop.
Only 2 supporting documents are required:
• ID card or passport.
• Bank details (RIB/IBAN).
How do I top up my card?
You can top up your card online, at ticket machines, at TXIK TXAK sales points or in one of the agencies.
Fares tailored to my profile
Depending on my age or income (family quotient), I may benefit from reduced fares. To do so, my concession profile must be loaded onto my card after verification of supporting documents, which can be submitted at an agency or uploaded online.
Depending on my situation, this profile must be updated each time I renew my travel pass.
How do I use it?
My card is personal and non-transferable. Each time I board a vehicle, I must validate it, including when making connections.
The card is free to issue. If it becomes defective, a duplicate is provided upon presentation of the original card. In case of loss, theft or damage, I can request a duplicate at an agency for €8. An ID document will be required, and the new card will automatically be credited with any remaining valid tickets from the old card, which will then be deactivated.
