You can take the train to commute to work or to visit the Basque Country. Leave the car at home and combine the train with the buses and coaches in the TXIK TXAK network.
Take the train
You can take the train to travel quickly to the south, east, or north thanks to the lines that serve the Basque Country. The train is very practical for getting around from day to day, with three TER regional rail lines running daily from town to town.
A total of four rail lines take us to our daily destinations:
- The TGV high-speed train between Hendaye and Paris, with stops at Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Biarritz, and Bayonne
- The TER 51 regional rail service between Hendaye and Bordeaux, with stops at Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Guéthary, and Biarritz
- The TER 53 regional rail service between Bayonne, Pau, and Tarbes, with a stop at Urt
- The TER 54 regional rail service between Bayonne and Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, with several stops including Cambo-les-bains
The TXIK TXAK network will be waiting for you as soon as you get off the train
Once at the station, hop on a TXIK TXAK bus to get to your destination. Want to get to the town centres of Bayonne, Biarritz, Hendaye, or Saint-Jean-de-Luz directly from one of the railway stations? Hop on a bus!
The advantage: Thanks to a partnership between the TXIK TXAK network and the TER 54 regional rail service, you can now combine the train with unlimited travel on TXIK TXAK buses and coaches to and from Cambo, Ustaritz, Villefranque, and many other stations on that railway line.
