TXIK TXAK goes seaside!
From Ondres to Hendaye, enjoy the beaches without a car: frequent buses, Park and Ride facilities, free shuttles, and secure bike parking… fewer traffic jams and more freedom!
Every summer, the TXIK TXAK network offers frequent daytime services and later evening buses.
Leave your bike in good hands and enjoy the beach peacefully!
Free supervised bike parking is available on 9 beaches along the coast from 5 July to 24 August.
With over 1,000 parking spaces and all types of bikes accepted including cargo bikes and bikes with surfboard racks there’s no excuse not to cycle to the beach!
The 9 equipped beaches:
- Bidart: Uhabia, Central Beach, Pavillon Royal, Ilbarritz
- Biarritz: Milady, Grande Plage
- Anglet: Chambre d’Amour
- Tarnos: Plage du Métro
- Ondres Plage
All aboard!
With TXIK TXAK, summer means freedom! Your surfboard (under 2 metres) is welcome on board, as is your small dog if it travels in a suitable basket or carrier. Guide dogs are also allowed across the entire network.
Free shuttles for easy access to the beaches
Four free shuttle services make it simple to reach the beaches of Ondres, Biarritz, Bidart and Guéthary:

Park and Ride (P+R) make your life easier
With Park and Ride facilities, you spend less time parking and more time relaxing, swimming and enjoying yourself!
From Tarnos to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, via Bayonne and Anglet, take advantage of 20 summer Park and Ride sites (free parking + direct access to bus lines), available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
The Holzarte Park and Ride
Located in Tardets, the Holzarte Park and Ride (P+R) connects directly to the start of the hiking trail via line 66, which runs daily from 8:45 a.m. to 4:55 p.m. It’s the easiest and quickest way to reach the Holzarte footbridge.
